아이를 키우는 엄마이다보니 세상의 모든 아이들이 소중하다는 걸 알게 되었고, 엄마로서가 아닌 저를 찾고자 여러 시도를 한 끝에 그림책이라는 새로운 꿈을 찾게 되자, 우리 모두는 빛나고 소중한 존재라는 걸 깨달았어요.
엄마, 아빠, 딸, 아들, 여성, 남성 이런 역할 이전에 각자의 이름으로 빛나는 존재임을, 우리 모두는 그런 특별한 사람임을 모두가 알게 되길 바라는 마음에서 저의 그림책 영문 제목이기도 한 ' The universe says you are special '로 정했어요.
